The Department of Finance held a session titled Global Competitiveness Indicators as pioneering references to improve financial and economic performance in public sector organizations, which is managed by Dr. Farag Abdullah, assistant professor of economics at the Academy of Culture and Science and researcher at the Faculty of Politics and Economics, Suez University - Egypt - and a member of the Egyptian Association for Political Economy and Legislation
the session was attended by His Excellency / Yusef Ali Muhammad, Director General of the Department of Finance, directors of departments and a number of the department's employees, where the session dealt with reviewing the most important indicators of global competitiveness in support of improving financial and economic performance within the public sector organizations within the implementation of the roadmap stages that are relied upon to update the new department's strategy 2022-2026 to update the targets of the strategic performance indicators according to competitive and reference comparisons of government spending ratios by major sectors, diversification of revenues, liquidity, digital transformation and other indicators that contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of financial performance and its leadership through comparison with global targets in the same field in preparation for guidance within the requirements of updating the department's strategy.
