The Chairman of the president of the UAE Internal Audit Association Mr. Abdul Qadir Obaid Ali, stated that the number of the associates in the association are 2700 among them is 350 members from the government sector.
\nHe also stated that the association in UAE is one of the largest in the Arab world in terms of members from varous companies and establishments in private and public sector, noting that in the scientific institute of internal auditors has 185,000 members from 109 countries and the UAE and other Arab countries are part of that. The number of Internal Auditors in UAE is estimated at 7 to 8 thousand Auditors across all the seven Emirates.
\nHe also pointed out that the UAE is hosting the global summit for internal Auditors for the first time in the middle east in May 2018, on the most influential summits and is held annually once in the USA and the once in any other country.
\nThe above statements were made on the outskirts of a defining meeting the day before yesterday between a delegation from the Internal Auditors association in UAE and the Finance Department of Ras Al Khimah in the latter\u2019s\u2019 headquarters, the president of the association and in the presence of Mr. Sami Saqr Director General of the Finamce Department in RAK – introduced the various activities, scopes of work, and the challenges facing those in the sector in UAE and some of its finer achievements.
\nThe Association with its HQ in Dubai is the authorized body of the scientific institute of internal auditors based in Florida, USA, and is scheduled to launch a series of educational and awareness events about internal Auditing across both government and private sectors specially in May being the global month for internal Auditing.
\nThe association has promptly translated 4 reference guide line publications, the manual of Internal Audit guide has never been translated, and was always only in its original text in English in addition to another 3 publications about the internal audit issues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":232,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"ngg_post_thumbnail":0},"categories":[],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-2213","news","type-news","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","entry","has-media"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
