During the annual ceremony of 2014 held by the Finance Department to honor its employees, the department’s Institutional Excellence Office held the annual ceremony under the patronage and presence of Sami Abdul Rahman Saqr, Director General of RAK Finance Department, at the Rixos Bab Al Bahr hotel on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaiman.
\nThe ceremony was started with the national anthem of UAE and followed with the recitation of the verses of Quran, followed by a video presentation that highlighted the most significant achievements of the Institutional Excellence Office in the year 2014, and which was prepared under the direct supervision of the office manager and work team.
\nIn his speech on the occasion, H.E. the Director-General stated: “I am pleased to participate in this occasion that is dear to my heart, and that we meet as one family brought together by one goal – to achieve the objective of creating the Finance Department, and offer the best of our experience, knowledge and effort to realize our wise government’s strategy based on the vision of H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and ruler of Ras al Khaimah – may God protect him and guide his steps – and the follow-up of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Saud Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council in Ras Al Khaimah, and his continuous guidance for us to improve financial and accounting services across all departments and bodies of the government of Ras al Khaimah to reach the appropriate level, in accordance with international standards of the public sector\u201d.
\nH.E. added: \u201cWe ask God to help us all to achieve the desired goals, and I am confident that the Department of Finance with its highly qualified employees are doing their best to accept all challenges in order to achieve the objectives of the department and add to its achievements.

\nAfter that the department staffs were honored, as well as some employees from outside the department of those who had contributions and participations with positive impact on the performance of the department\u2019s work.
