In the Award ceremony honoring the winners of the "Government Excellence Award" at its 13th session organized by Sheikh Saqr Program for Government Excellence in order to establish a culture of excellence and creativity in the institutional work within the government of Ras Al Khaimah, which was held at the Cultural Center with the presence of the heads of department in the local Government, in addition to the Directors of the Federal Authorities and VIPs HH Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qassimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, honored a number of departments and committees paying a special tribute to their outstanding achievements during 2018, among them was the "Department of Finance" for winning the "Sharjah Prize for Public Finance 2019 ",
The award was received by HE Yousif Ali Mohammed, Director General of the Department. His Highness the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, in his speech, said: Excellence, innovation and creativity in the institutional work is an integrated system and a prerequisite in our governmental institutions to develop the government work environment in accordance with the highest international quality standards based on sustainable competitiveness scientific approach to achieve leadership in all areas, as well as the importance of fueling the spirit of competition and positivity between different departments and employees.
