Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, and H.E. Yousuf Ali Mohammed, Director General of the Department of Finance, Ras Al Khaimah Government, signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Supporting and encouraging creativity, innovation and foreseeing the future, enhancing the level of institutional and financial performance, in addition to controlling the local budget, expenses and revenues, and cooperating between the two parties towards achieving the strategic partnership between them.
The two sides agreed to exchange resources, information and expertise, implement financial policies and legislation, monitor financial performance and ensure proper implementation, periodic meetings to discuss obstacles and areas of cooperation, not to mention the application of advanced technological solutions in support of the financial systems in Ras Al Khaimah Government.
The memorandum also included an item emphasizing carrying out research in the fields of joint ventures, organizing training courses and community events, and coordinating between the two parties to support the common strategic objectives. The two parties agreed to form a joint coordinating committee responsible for implementing the terms of the memorandum of understanding.
Major General Ali bin Alwan Al Nuaimi said that this cooperation would support the police work process and contribute to closer links and expertise through constant communication to propel efficiency and effectiveness. He described the signing of the agreement as reflecting the common vision and achieving the goals of our wise government and the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in the security and financial fields, as well as means of participating in the economic and cultural renaissance witnessed by the Emirate. He also praised the efforts of the Department of Finance of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah in enhancing cooperation with the Police Command.
H.E. Yousuf Ali, Director General of the Department of Finance, said that the signing of the MoU is an important step that contributes to the exchange of expertise and information in common areas, and enhances efforts in advancing the development process in Ras Al Khaimah and developing a strategic partnership to serve the Emirate at the security and economic levels.
