With the presence of His Excellency Youssef Ali Mohamed, Director General of the Finance Department, directors of government and private agencies, employees of the Finance Department and employees of government agencies ... On January 16, 2020, the Finance Department organized a ceremony honoring the winners of the Julphar Financial Award for Excellence in its third session for the year 2109 at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in Ras Al Khaimah, It was moderated by Muhammad Ghanem Mustafa - Director of Ras Al Khaimah Radio Authority, and aired live on RAK Radio.
It started by the launch of a new subcategory (Distinguished Financial Leader) presented to His Excellency Sami Abdul Rahman Saqer, former Director General of the Finance Department who founded the Department in May 1965 and accompanied its extended career of fifty years of continuous development of administrative and accounting practices.
The winning participants in the different award categories were honored by His Excellency Yusuf Ali Muhammad, Director General of the Department of Finance, accompanied by Dr. Mohamed Ahmed El-Khouly, Director of the Office of Institutional Development in the department, where the ceremony came first by honoring (the Prize Evaluation Committee), then honoring the winners of the “Excellence Partnership Award in Financial Performance” represented in several categories: Accounting policies and procedures, the best government agency to rationalize expenditures supporting the enhancement of opportunities for sustainability, the best government agency committed to implementing value-added tax measures, the best resource performance in meeting government needs, the best government agency supportive of oversight performance, the best community body supportive of the activities of the department Mechanism and accounting,
The best volunteer performance to serve the activities of the Financial and Accounting Department .. The best institutional partnership group was also honored in implementing business continuity scenarios for 2019, and the following awards were also given: the exceptional achievements award of the Department of Finance for the year 2019 CE, the Distinguished Women Award, the Distinguished Committee Award .. then it was Honoring the winners of the (General Manager Medal Award for Individuals: the innovative employee, the distinguished supervisor manager, the distinguished accountant, the distinguished financial controller, the distinguished administrative specialist, the distinguished administrative employee, and the distinguished user. And finally, the winner of the main award category (Organization’s Unit which achieved excellence) ..
